Rebirth of a dying star

          Hello there, it's been a while since i wrote nor been active on SpaceHey O_O, bwoah it doesn't even matter if you ask me. Today we are talking about the one and only, the car that started the trend of PURE RAW POWER and i'm talking about the BUGATTI VEYRON                                                                                             (2005)

THE ORIGINS:

Everything has a beginning, the brand had like....4. in 1909 founded by Ettore Bugatti in Molsheim Germany or France i dunno since it's Alsace these days oh i know Francemany :D, anyway went boom after WW2 and then bought by Spanish company in 1963, afterwards by an Italian named Romano Artioli, don't know him ? well it's the mf who gave birth to the EB110

Well it looks quite special because it was a car that broke the world Record made by the Jaguar XJ220

funny thing is the record lasted 5 minutes, quick fact it has a V6 instead of a v12.
because of the EB110, the company went to bankruptcy...again. And all of the sudden the German came by and bought it like a Würst in a butcher's shop and there is no need to remind who he is. 

Ferdinand MOTHERFUCKING Piëch, a dying car brand and the man who can revive everything with the power of money. Truly a match in heaven.
The brand doesn't have a real identity, they already have a sport brand "Lamborghini" a luxury brand "Bentley" why a not a truck ? eh nah they already have MAN and Scania, so it's done for the company right ? we are talking about Piëch here now let's get go to the technical and concepts of the car.

The Concepts:

                                                    EB112

At first they wanted to execute the idea of a super luxury saloon with  a V12, they did this with the EB118 who has.....a W18 yes a 18 cylinder in W like a certain Veyron

Yes a W18, who thought it was a good idea but let's continue to the last concept, sure there is another one but will talk about it later on for a good reasonThis one is the EB18/4 Veyron, the same as the EB118, same W18 6.2 555hp and 650NM, this was technically the pre-released design, they pretty much look the same. In the end they ditched the W18 i guess N/A for a W16

Engine made in hell, a product of the wrath of Ferdinand Piëch, my man was cooking i know i'm glazing him but idc. a 16 Cylinder in W 8L with 4 Turbos and an ungodly amount of radiators, bro better call a firetruck to cool this up and i heard they nearly burned the whole facility to the ground because of the heat generated, AWD+Differential for it's time was the best oh and a dual-clutch 7 speed gearbox back in 2005 while supercar companies either went with Automatic manuals gearboxes or torque converters, all of this outputting 1001hp and 1250nm of torque "r.i.p tyres" back in 2005 and destroying the record set by the McLaren F1 which was 390km/h under specific conditions, the car can go to 407km/h and there is more. While the Enzo was the most powerful car with a v12 outputting 650hp. This car was a product of an absurd amount of RAAAAAAAAGE from Ferdinand. And of course FULL CARBON

And let's not forget about the whole reason of making it
Who said a Hypercar can't have the both of the 2 worlds ? PURE POWER and S class level of Luxury bro wasn't bluffing at all and they released another veyron
Named the Super Sport, the car now outputs 1250hp and 1500nm of torque. I can't imagine the fear in Michelin engineers when they heard about the Veyron. And funny thing is it's James May from Top Gear UK who broke the world record the first with the SS reaching 417km/h and then in literally the SAME DAY, the record was beaten by Pierre-Henri RaphanelTHE SAME DAY IN THE SAME CAR AND TRACK

Reaching 431km/h lol. Well now let's discuss the price and see what happened exactly AFTER the release of the 2005 model

The Aftermaths:

The car back in the day used to cost pretty much 1.2 MILLION $/€ which was technically the most expensive car in the world when it released, which is approximatively 2 MILLION $/€ in today's money "ouch" and what else.
OH the fuel consumption, mate you paid for a w16 8.0 Quadriturbo, of course YOU WILL PAY FOR THE FUEL and if you try to go at 400km/h, prepare yourself because you'll pay for it, and it will be expensive since if you unlock the TRUE full speed with a special key, the car registers it and when you go to Bugatti for maintenance, they will change the tyres and the rims and it will cost between 30,000 and 40,000 €....per WHEEL so it's 160,000€ for a full set "ouch" and the vehicle registration certificate cost like for France 5400€ "OOF", well you paid for it.

LEGACY:

The production has stopped after 10 years "2005-2015" in it's lifetime they released special versions of it, the car has left a BIG impact on the car industry and in technology as a whole, it shows what people are ACTUALLY capable of, this is called being a real car lover.
The Veyron got replaced by the Chiron, ok let me make it clear, Veyron and Chiron, even Divo are people who raced with Bugatti back in the day, so it's Pierre Veyron and Louis Chiron

The same formula as usual, same engine but outputs 1500hp and 1600nm "Michelin engineers live reaction: (っ °Д °;)っ" and this time in it's most powerful state, it reaches 490km/h yeeaaaaah, good luck catching that
About the EB18/3

Named the EB18/3 Chiron, hmm what a coincidence if you ask me, i hope i will keep writing more about cars that i love and see ya :3
