Don't group me into anything

Hey since I'm pretty passionate about this topic, I figured i'd make a part 2 to my last blog.

Im gay, and I absolutely hate when people say "Oh you're LGBTQ!! Which one??". And my response is, "no I'm just Gay. I'm not of that community." 

And for some reason people in the LGBT freak out when I say this, because "You ARE lgbtq, because you are gay". And well for me, my logic is, just because I'm gay doesn't mean I have to be a part of anything. I don't interact with anyone in the lgbt, nor do I participate in any events, so then why am I (against my will) immediately placed into this group I don't want to be in? 

That's exactly the issue I have with the lgbtq, you are either with them or YOUR are the enemy. People look at me in public and start assuming i'm this LGBTQ warrior or whatever (which I understand, given my appearance) however, don't tell me I'm wrong for not wanting any part of it. Is it any wonder why people think it's a cult?? Not saying it is, but it sure does act like one. 

And listen, I have nothing but love and respect for every human being, and they all deserve happiness and love regardless of who they are; But boy do I feel lonely around people that I'm supposed to be at home with. 

I am open to critiques, but just know that whatever you say in response, says more about you than me.
