been noticing a pattern where a certain time of year comes around and suddenly im super inspired by the idea of throwing my phone in a river, charging my ipod back up, getting a library card / buying new books, creating my bullet journal spreads, doing everything possible to go back to our roots of dedicating time and a space for the internet, just to have hundreds of "how to get rid of your smartphone in 2025" videos saved in my watch later,  just to never actually get rid of the damn thing
