Haven't been feeling well and have been avoiding drawing but was able to push this out

I feel really rusty from my lack of recent practice, though yesterday I did some figure drawing. In the morning I tried to make some progress on practising drawing more quickly but I haven't finished that comic yet. About this sketch, I didn't add the proper foreshortening so the upper arm is super squished, I don't intend on fixing it soon, but I might when I have more free time.

I buy imported Japanese stationery pretty frequently because I enjoy journaling, but I really only use the blue, grey or black pens and highlighters, so I realized I should put them to use. This is based off of one of the newly released Sakura Miku figures, not the noodle stopper ones, but I think it is a prize figure. Anyways, yeah, yet again I didn't add any foreshortening on the legs LOL

Next weekend I plan on trying to traditionally make a comic using some fude nib pens I bought a few months ago. On that same day I also bought the 2023 Visions pixiv art book featuring art by Mika Pikazo and various other illustrators, mostly Japanese though of course lol, I was surprised to see that the Mangaka Nagabe (Girl From the Other Side) was featured, alongside Link Click's original artist and another illustrator who made this art that I believe was turned into a garage kit figure? It's that mecha bee girl if anyone's familiar with it lol

On my next entry I'd like to make some image frames to add to my photos, like the ones on Art Fight
