Teatime

Queen Jules was a lovely lady

Who had a table of four

Her younger sister, who was always quite shady

Greeted me as I opened the door

Queen Jules had tea of all sorts

Packets stacked in the pantry

And in the first cup, she began to pour

I watch her flowers start dancing

“How’s life in Willow Springs?”

I managed to ask

“Oh, all the birds always sing

As they fly rather fast”

“Which tea do you prefer?”

Her little sister prompts

“Chamomile,” I tell her

“You could never go wrong!”

Queen Jules’ tea is the best

Better than any other

Even better, I only live west

From her and her sister

And as we finish our tea,

The queen washed our dishes

I’m so happy to be

Here with all the princesses

(Sorry if this wasn’t good)
