Over-the-shoulder bag craft

I have an over-the-shoulder bag, and I got sticky moss. I put the sticky moss on it, which was kinda difficult cause it would get stuck to my hand at times, but I got it on. I also had regular moss that I hot-glued to make it look more fluffy. It looked pretty neat, and I wanna get little bug charms or mushrooms to also glue on. The only problem is that I need to glue the regular moss on differently. I lost one and then had to rip one off cause it was going to fall. I think I'm gonna try layering it in small amounts. I'm thinking it will hold better that way...hopfully.
