HII this is my first blog, idk much abt this so i will make it short and simple. Since October is approaching and the Halloween decorations start to show around, I wanted to buy something along the lines yk, even tho i have a lot of books still wrapped haha but yk never is enough. I ended up buying 2.
Last week i was invited to a friend's bday. We know eachother and my friendgroup since highschool, and we all started developing our reading hobby together haha. I went to the bookshop to buy her a little detail, since she studies Literature and loves romance. I ended upgifting her this pretty "Romeo and Juliet" copy with a lovely cover (Austral Editorial), and almost as destiny i found a copy of "Carmilla"! I have been searching it for SO LONG and for such a small book, the prices were really elevated, but this one was like 7 dollars so i bought it! It also includes other 2 stories, I can't remember their names now but when i get home I will put them in the comments.
Second and last book that I bought. This month, a new bookshop opened near the city center, a beautiful area, and it promised to have the lowest prices of the market. It was like an outlet of books. It blew up really fast on tiktok, and obviously me and my friends went to check it out yesterday. It was a bit hard to find, but when we got there the polace was full of ppl! We looked carefully to every book there, the prices were really nice, just as marketed, from 1 to 10 dollars aprox. I decided to buy one that I never heard of before (I usually have my list of goodreads and stick to that since I enjoy reiews alot). It's called "El ascenso de las sombras: Relatos clásicos de lo siniestro" and it contains different stories from various authors like H. P. Lovecraft, John Polidori, Mary Shelly, among others. I am not familiarized with this genre and I am looking forward to get into them! It contained many popular authors and I guessed this was a good way to introduce me to this stories without getting tired with a very long one.
Thats all, I'm very busy w uni but i hope i can start them, i hope that time comes sooner than later! If any of you have already read any of these i would love to hear your reviews and opinions :)
