Tomorrow is my first day of high school ever

A few hours later, my first day of high school will start. I don’t know if I should be nervous or excited, but I’m really, really nervous. I don’t have any friends in my new school, and I don’t like my major or anything. I’m so scared that I might not make it. I know I’m being dramatic, but I can’t stop overthinking. I just hope I’ll find good friends instead of new bullies.

High school may not be completely like the movies, but movies aren’t lying most of the time. I’m kind of sure it’s going to be like my elementary school. Back then, I was the weird kid in class. My only friends were trees and flowers, and everyone made fun of me for talking to trees and reading so many books.

My grades have never been good, and I was always jealous of the other smart kids. I was never part of the popular groups. It was never that serious, but these memories are making me even more nervous about high school—because I know it’s going to be so much worse than elementary school.

I just decided to show you guys the school stuff I bought, because they’re the only things I like about school. Showing them to you kind of makes me feel less nervous and a little better about my first day.
