Hello everyone.
Do you also feel a little out of place? You know, even virtually, you have a hard time socializing or talking to anyone. How do you deal with that?

I have the same struggle with socializing as I'm awkward and introverted, but I think about the outcome I want (caring friends) and recently that's pushed me to talk to people more online and offline.
I'm happy for you ^_^ But how do you break the ice? Do you start by just saying hello or something? Thanks for answering!

It depends, but I try to find something interesting and in common to talk about in every situation. For example, if you’re in public, you can compliment someone about their appearance. If in class, you can ask about the homework and that can lead to talk about stuff on campus that you could possibly do together. Or if you’re online on SpaceHey, you can look at the person’s profile and see if you have common interests and ask about them. Just starting small helps

I practiced to start a conversation by talking with strangers online. It's easier than talking with people irl. I had times to study how people start conversations. Over times, I’ve gotten better at talking with anyone, but it still hard to bring up a topic, except hobbies, age, and country.
