los angeles!

anyone know like what to do in los angeles if i were to vacation there? i had a dream last night that i went to los angeles for a holiday and when i woke up i checked flights and they seemed somewhat afforable? i'd want to spend a halloween in los angeles i think, what are some gothic clubs, events, thrift stores, alternative hangout spots or anything of the sort to make my week gooooodddd. i wanna go during halloween as it always looks so sick in america, it's mainly for kids in scotland, so i wanna see some people going all out... if that is actually still a thing in america and i'm not just going off of the very small window that social media provides......
