It's kinda stupid that with all of this technology, there's no advancement in women's health. While people are making clanker babies and robots with fleshy uses for the obvious.
I have possible endometriosis (this was about 3 years back when I went to the doctor). Menstruation is a nightmare. I remember being numb down my waist, unable to move because of the pain, the bleeding was unstable and I wanted to jump off a building.
The only way to know I have endo is by putting something inside of me to scan my ovaries (ultrasound)... hell no. I've read enough stories about that and I don't want to be the next victim. It is very intrusive to the body.
It doesn't help that not many doctors takes pains like those seriously. I'm very grateful for the doctor I had years ago and she prescribed birth control (which only stabilized my periods and stopped me from getting acne. I took it for 2 years because it just didn't do anything).
I get headaches, really bad nausea, body pain, unbearable mood swings and inability to move due to soreness in the lower half of my body. I would love for another alternative, but I don't want anything that might feel like a violation to my body. I'm scared and I hate that having surgery to remove that painful clutter is the only solution.
But no, technology is so advanced for gooners and idiots with money than the beneficial health for girls, women or AFAB of any age. Periods should not be shamed and be given more explanation because it's more than blood and plain. Sex education, hygiene, and support is important.
Just wanted to get that out of my system.
