Yeah i'm planning on it .. it's just kinda hard since i've gotten to know him before this and then i find this out today yk? but i'm leaving him dw, i'm just honestly scared to about the fact he said if i ever leave him he'll kill me and then himself. but i'm still gonna leave him cause ik it's whats best for me.

Yes, honestly, those are comments only a mentally ill person would make. If you can, tell more people about your situation, like a friend or family. If you're going to break up with him, be careful not to be alone or anything. I'm genuinely worried about you; that guy isn't normal.
