-to see a movie character 

and say “literally me.”

-to drive windows-down 

with the A/C on full blast.

-to enter my high score

initials as A-S-S and giggle.

-to give a friend’s number 

to a prank call show. 

-to let you drunkenly trauma dump 

after we've just met at a party. 

-to trauma dump back to you 

because I find you attractive. 

-to give you my number 

with an agenda in mind. 

-to strategically post songs 

on my stories I know you like.

-to make myself small enough 

to fit in a box comfortable for you. 

-to act like it's your fault 

I've broken my boundaries. 

-to tell you “no hard feelings”

after years of resentment. 

-to “just be friends”

even though it kills me. 

-to write a poem about it

and pretend it’s therapy.

-to do literally anything,

except ever admit 

I was wrong.
