Cool people fw dinosaurs/prehistoric animals

Dinosaurs are awesome, they roamed this earth like we animals do today(yes we, humans count as animals). They came in big and small sizes, from the Patagotitan to the Compysognathus. They were some shimmery ones like the Microraptor, fast ones like the Gallimimuses and vegeterian yet powerful ones like the Therizinosaurus and Ankylosaurus.

I believe that we should talk more about dinosaurs, in school and in general, they're a part of mother natures past and deserve respect. I mean think about it, they used to live here, right where you're sitting at your desk, on your computer reading this, used to be a big forest with lots of prehistoric animals.

Fun fact (correct me if I'm wrong): The reason for the great mighty Tyrannosaurus rex's itty bitty arms, is that they use to have bigger arms, but the longer they lived they would only use their legs and jaws to hunt and in general use them more than their arms, so as they evolved their head got bigger, their bite force stronger, their legs bigger and stronger, while their arms stopped growing and shrank. It is believed that for example for the Carnotaurus that they might've used their arms as a part of a mating dance ritual.

Prehistoric animals that are often mistaken as dinosaurs: Dimetrodon, Pteranodons/Pteradactyls, Plesiosaur, Mosasour, Elasmosaurus and others.

An animal that deserves our respect and protection is the Horseshoe crab, this animal has been on earth even BEFORE dinosaurs and is still with us today, even if they have the word crab in their name they're more related to spiders rather than crabs. They're arthropods of the family Limulidae.

Thanks and don't forget about who used to run this world.

I absolutely agree that cool people fw with dinosaurs. Paleontology could be a very interesting discussion topic for Spacehey- not sure I've seen it around yet.
