big warning this is very long enjoy

     i keep forgetting to go on this website.. anyways, hi! school started over a month ago, and surprisingly my grades are still good! i have a 3.2GPA rn but the only thing that is weighing it down is the D in french :( i ate shit on the passe compose quiz, but i've studied a lot for the test, so hopefully i get a higher score. 

     i have four A's, two B's, and one D. the B's are pissing me OFF but i cant do anything about them. i would try harder but you know im a lazy bum. i'm happy with my grades, but if i could get a 75% AT LEAST on the test, then i'm golden. if i got a C, my GPA would be 3.4 and i would be happier. i'm really striving to get an A so i can have a 3.7 and possibly get honor roll if i maintain those grades. i had straight A's in the beginning but thats when we got like 1-2 assignments and you either passed or failed them.

     i dont think i should be in math strageties. i know i'll need it later, i suck ass at math. but honestly, i understand all the work already (well, it's my second year in algebra 1, so..) i got low scores because i didnt bother trying last year. i still dont bother trying but i dont want my ass whooped by the school.

     so far, sophomore year is SO much easier than freshman year. there was an assembly two days ago and it was fun. it was for homecoming (im lazy so i didnt want to go) but i went to the assembly because it was mandatory. so i lost my voice screaming and i got cool shutter shades. swag :P this dude i kinda like also added me on spotify last night (not anywhere else but i'll take what i can get) and im really happy.

     ALSO like week 2 we had a presentation immediately-- well, two presentations. 

     for english, we had to make a presentation about any culture--we got egyptian--to show that we understand presentations for like jobs n stuff. we got 100%, but i'm still a bit pissed. we had a group of three (absent students because we were all sick) and this chick didn't bother doing anything because, and i quote, "she has a huge problem with public speaking".. LOOK. i understand, i have social anxiety too! but PLEASE put some afford into the slides at least, me and our other partner was stuck making and waiting for your slides for 3 weeks until the teacher nagged us to present. i would've talked to her but i don't know who she was. we only got information that she was absent and her name. i don't know her face, and i don't know whether she was friendly, so i couldn't talk to her. but anyways, we got 100% so it was fine, i don't think she did, though..

     for history, i was completely alone on this. we had to make a greece slideshow of any kind. most people reserved the cool gods. because all of the cool ones were taken, i was the only person who had a greek hero/warrior. but i didn't mind it. i got odysseus. we were supposed to tell a story from their life, but most people introduced them with little to no effort also with ai resources and got 100% while I made a very long, detailed slideshow on book 9 of the odyssey with photos and blue emojis to catch attention AND memorized it ONLY to get 75% on it. i'm so salty. these people didn't even try and got a higher grade than me. i will say, SOME people did catch my eye (my friends and the dude i like). i have a really high ego, i'll admit, and this crushed a bit of it. usually i wouldn't care or try, but i made a promise that i'll try my best on schoolwork even if i am depressed. i spent all night-- three nights on this, doublechecking if it was accurate and made sense. the only thing i forgot to do was remember if odysseus was on the greek side or the trojan side of the war (he was on the greek's side) and I SAID TROJAN BECAUSE I FORGOT TROY WASN'T IN GREECE 😭😭 i'm sorry greek people

     other than that, nothing interesting has happened. it's been kinda boring. the only cool shit i enjoy is lunch and when my friend buys me things (THANK YOU ROCKY!!!) anyways cya
