AHH I'M SO EXCITED FOR YOU!! I adopted a beardie back in February, myself! My friend rescued him from being unhoused but then she had to gift him to our other friend and he wasn't able to properly care for him, either, so he got to come to his forever home (aka me!) His name is Blitz (named by the OG owner, he responds to it, so I didn't wanna change it.) He's such a sweetie, he loves to sit on our laps/the couch and watch TV with us. I've been showing him nature documentaries lately, he seems really interested when they show scenes of animals during the winter months. I love that after a few hours of being awake, he "asks" to come out of his tank by tapping on the front glass and likes chill with me when I take him out.
Anyway, I wish the best for you and your new scaley baby! They're such an amazing pet to have~
