It angers me that every time someone commits suicide, someone appears and starts saying things like "what will his mother think?", "what will her children think?" and they are concerned about them, when before they didn't even paid attention to the one who committed suicide, as if he had just been there, committed suicide and never thought or felt anything like doing it.

Have you ever thought about the suicide and not the family?

When my best friend took his own life, my mom speculated that it may not have been fully intentional. Either he forgot the gun was loaded or went for a "test run", not realizing it was that strong a rifle.
There's a consensus that he did it because his girlfriend broke up with him, but he also suffered from sleep apnea that he begged to be treated and his relationship with his parents was very rapidly deteriorating. His mom didn't want to accept or validate his problems because she's the kind of very fake, condescending pseudo-liberal hippie who forces positivity on people.
I feel like I'm the only member of his surviving social circle who thinks in these terms.
