Movies often make love look like constant fireworks, grand gestures, dramatic hugs in the rain, and perfectly timed kisses. But real love isn’t always like that. It’s softer, quieter, and hidden in the little things we often overlook.
Love shows itself in routines, checking if you’ve eaten, waiting on a call until you fall asleep, or remembering the smallest details about each other. These tiny gestures don’t look cinematic, but they hold more weight than any big surprise.
There are also fights, misunderstandings, and days that feel boring. Unlike movies where one argument ends everything, in real life love is about patience, talking things out, and choosing each other even when it’s not easy.
In the end, love doesn’t always feel like butterflies. It feels like home. It’s where you can be fully yourself, flaws, moods, and all, and still be seen, understood, and cherished. And that’s something movies rarely capture.

FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE IS SAYING IT!! I love romances, but they're just movies/books, real life isn't always gonna always be that ideal!

I hate how lately, love is portrayed as this constantly stimulating, constantly exciting thing.
It makes people think that the minute they start feeling comfortable with someone, and those butterflies become less intense, that they're "falling out of love".
Constantly chasing highs like that, while still intending to find genuine love is just...Counterproductive. I honestly don't understand it.
