Opening up to say hi!

Whilst most of the entries in my blog will remain private, this one will be public and a bit of an About Me section, with some clarification. I had kept a Farcebook account for a few years, but in my efforts to keep it deactivated, those efforts always blew up in my face, cos my account would reopen on it's own within a month, forcing me to return and start the process over again. This frustrating cycle finally led me to delete the damn account for keeps, and by this time, Bluesky had been rolled out to the public. I joined up, and whilst I do like Bluesky, it has a format closer to Twitter, which I admit is ok, but not really my thing. I've had Vero as an Instasham replacement for a few years, and I enjoy it very much. The original version of MySpace still exists, but it's just impossible to navigate, so that's out of the question. Along comes SpaceHey, and a few days later, I've accepted this place as my social media haven. I like it here very much. I think that will be about it for this public blog.
