It's so weird nowadays. Back when i was diagnosed with asperger's it was considered rare to be autistic. Especially in my city. But now most users i click on around here say they're autistic (i'm not saying they aren't) and it makes me wonder what happened for it to suddenly get diagnosed more often. If that makes sense, i'm not good at english
I know some people claim that they're autistic and they really aren't, whatever, bad apples will be bad apples. But it's just curious how autism used to be looked down upon and now you're basically guaranteed to know someone with it

I think it's mostly because doctors are testing for it more often now then when you were diagnosed making it seem like more people have it. People probs just weren't diagnosed then but they still had it and were just considered "odd"
