modern living feels boring

modern living feels so boring when u actually look at how much everything has drastically changed. we literally have the world in our phones, technology is so advanced and it is all we depend on and have our minds attached to. stores look so bland and boring, trending fashion is so boring, ppl chronically on tiktok and twitter. we all practically live on our phones. its hard for me to detach from my phone as much as i want to becs i’ve had one in my hand ever since i got my first phone in 5th grade. yes phones are fun but i legit miss where i wasnt attached to my phone. i miss seeing physical media that we could collect in stores like dvds, cds, fashion magazines etc. stores actually being colorful and fun. hangouts where everyone isn’t on their phones. waking up to just watch ig reels and tiktok everyday is so boring. even youtube feels boring to watch now unless i find some old gems from 2010 and below.
