this just turned criminal

This is nerve-wrecking but okay. So there is a guy called A. 

A likes B, but she rejected him after multiple tries, so he went around calling her a slut and then morphed her photos into an almost nude photo. There was very little covering her. By very little- I mean it. 

Then my bf was his friend, so he sent me this photo, and I sent it to that girl. Now this case is going to the principal, and A already has many cases going on in school. This will be the last straw. Now A is threatening to blame everyone in the friend group just because they saw the photo. also including my friends and my boyfriend. 

Did I do the right thing? I couldn't just stay, knowing that a girl is facing this and I am doing nothing. 

But now, I have to protect all my friends because of A. 

And that little psychopathic shit will do anything to get revenge. I think he might morph my photos too because this is the second time I got him in trouble (which was totally his fuckass fault)

ERHGOERHG I NEED SOME OPINIONS DUDE!! DID I DO THE RIGHT THING BY TELLING HER ABOUT THE PHOTOS???

edit- i don't think we will go to the principal anymore. i don't know. its just so frustrating because i just got to know that A is going full-on batshit mode. he might actually kill us if something happens. like- he said that if he gets resticated because of us, he will take some very big action. 
and some bg info about this guy- HE LITERALLY BROUGHT ACID TO SCHOOL ONCE BECAUSE HIS FRIENDS COMPLAINED ABOUT HIM TO THE TEACHER!
