I write a lot of poems and lyrics here's a recent one:
Turtles to the top,
Turtles to the bottom,
Fixated on the comical,
Tequila on the tongue.
Curtain, rubber saw,
Surface cut across,
Love, when under cloth,
Nothing matters above.
I love you more than art,
I love you more than god.
Tongueless, trouble talking,
Unless I sing another song.
Forgive my writing,
I understand, we have not long:
'Touch upon, yet world's apart,
Double malt until the color bars.'
0MGG IT'S SO COOL!! We have total different writing styles, but I love the line "Troubletalking until I sing another song" it actually inspired me to finish the lyrics I've been meaning to finish for the past month ;p KEEP IT UP11!!1

heres kind of a shitty poem i wrote like two years ago
I have a friend,
His name is Johnnie Walker,
We shared a moment today,
Two shots,
One was for me,
On the rocks,
In a whispered glass,
A chill to forget,
The other was for you,
Neat,
Clear as truth,
To remember, and regret.
Echoes of her,
But only the melodies,
The warmth of her facade,
Slowly fades away.
When you're near, I fracture,
Time halts, I'm adrift
In a tranquil sea of disarray,
A delightful kind of lost,
The lost-in-serenity type.
Yet I am speechless,
Utterly mute,
I must talk to you,
Scream and shout,
Confess my undying gold,
Yet not a word can come out.
I fear the fall of feeling,
After the storm of her,
Yet, here I stand, craving the rain,
Wanting to feel the petrichor of that sickly sweet thing,
Despite the tempest-tossed heart within
