No matter what

I think it’s important to show the world my own colors and just do me

Because if I’m not being me

who will?

And in that same vain 

If you’re not being you

who will?

Only you can do you 

That one outfit you’ve been nervous to wear 

That song that you love but it seems like nobody else does 

Own it

When you start being yourself 

You don’t have to stress out about meeting the standards of the world 

Instead, you can set new ones and inspire other to do the same 

Rather than being different shades of the same color 

Let’s just showcase our own unique colors instead 

I think the world would be a much more fun place if we all did that
