Introduction Thingamajig...I guess??? XD

Greetings and salutations all! Jarrad here! I know I have that little "About Me" section all filled out, but I figured I'd create an additional blog post here as a means to formally introduce myself on this here site!

I'll be honest, by the time I had personal access to the internet, MySpace had kinda phased out, so I unfortunately missed that era. ;w;

But I found out about this place and I'm already loving how things are looking so far! 

I can't guarantee HOW active I'll be on here (if you want to see where else I'm active, I have my links posted on my page-my Linktree also including some additional links to other places where my work resides), but I'd love to try and use this blog as a means for more personal journal entries, life/project/work updates, fanboying endlessly about things I love, and anything else that I wind up wanting to just post on here that I don't wanna try squeezing into Bluesky's character limit (because I refuse to go back to Twitter)... ^^;

In terms of me, myself, and I, there isn't much more to really say outside of what I've posted in my interests section of my page already! 

I work as a security guard as my day job and do freelance video editing alongside that! I graduated with a Bachelor's Of Science for Digital Media Production in 2024 and have been a content creator on YouTube since 2014. 

My main focus for a lot of my work is horror: analog horror especially. I really appreciate how horror media can be utilized to explore different types of themes and subject matter and when it gets combined with other genres like comedy, drama, and ESPECIALLY if you work in some form of animation? *chef's kiss* perfection!

I also write fanfiction in my free time whenever I have the chance, so I may post updates for my current WIPs on here too (currently working on a long-running Undertale fic called "Cage of Bones" that is about 4 chapters away from being done!)

As for any other life shiz, I suppose anything I DO feel like sharing will come up in blog posts later down the line. But for now, I think that does it!
