My DON'T TAP THE GLASS Review

!! I'm a huge Tyler fan, so don't expect an 'unbiased' review or anything lol

As someone who's had the DTTG CD for a while now, and have had tons of time to listen to it, and fully digest it (for the 'simple' album it is), here's what I think!

First of all, It's not exactly fair to review the album by each song individually, since the way I see it, the way many tracks seemlessly transition into eachother, it's supposed to be listened to as one singular work of art.

That being said, I still think the album's production is wildly diverse and covers a lot of different genres and sound, and I'd rather take that approach than reviewing all of the songs one by one (even though my favorite is Sucka Free...and I still wanna talk about it)

I think both the more melodic and the more hiphop-heavy songs are all fantastic! I especially love the 3 last songs so beautifully intwining with eachother with the heavy melodies and singing (the features are amazing btw!) But also the transition from Sugar on My Tongue to Sucka Free and then immediately following it up with the best transition ON THE ALBUM (Mommanem & Stop Playing with me). Mommanem's beatdrop being the start of Stop Playing with Me is so perfect tbh, I don't understand why people complain about it.

Lyrically? The album isn't exactly 'brilliant', however, the way they're said and the general vibe of the album in general makes it matter way less imo. I also try to scream as many as the ones I remember lol

Overall an 8/10 for me!
