tampa bay california - mcr concert

a couple of days ago i was super lucky to attend my chemical romances long live the black parade tour in tampa! when they announced this i made sure to get the tickets when they would drop and sure, i dropped a lot of money on good seats but thats besides the point- i mean.. anything for my chemical romance!

but basically, the concert was awesome! it was my first time ever going to a concert and it was the best thing ever :D probably one of the best moments in my life and ill be thinking about it forever.

when i got to my seat although the concert hadn't begun and they were still getting the stage prepared i simply just sat there and soaked in the fact that i was THERE! i was finally going to see my favorite band ever, i thought i would never get to see them live but i was there, i was just minutes away from seeing them live and that filled me with so much joy!

i should probably take some time to talk about the opening band which was the one and only: evanescence! which... guys... they were literally so good. im not a big fan and i would consider myself a very casual listener of evanescence but hooooly shit hearing amy lee sing live was like dying and going to heaven but better, it's literally something that everyone should experience in their life and i wish it upon EVERYONE!!! her voice was so magical and she looked so ethereal. i was constantly admiring her and her voice the entire time and when she sung the songs that i loved i would get so hyped. also emma anzai their bassit took my breath away anytime she was shown she was SO gorgeous omg.. But basically, im also glad that i was able to see evanescence live before i got to see my favorite band. evanescence was awesome and the opening act was SO awesome!! i cannot get over how amazing and talented amy lee was, very peak, very awesome, i cant even begin to put it into words

onto my chemical romance, i think when i saw the band members going on stage i was just so starstruck because like... hello??? there they are?? literally RIGHT there they're standing RIGHT there?? and im seeing them with my very own eyes!! ill be honest, i didnt expect myself to stand the entire concert since i was wearing my pretty tall and chunky boots but i think the spirit of my chemical romance released me of any discomfort i was going to have because once they came on stage i was just focused on them and the songs

speaking of the songs, it was such a good experience hearing them live and i loved EVERY single one of them. i don't think i could describe the happiness i had when disenchanted played (aka one of my FAVORITE mcr songs EVER!!!), theres just something so fulfilling about hearing your favorite songs live, def something that made me so happy.

the theatrics that they had while going on with the concert was very entertaining and just made the concert more awesome, the crowd was also really good and really into the concert which really enhanced the concert like YES we are all loving this concert and all VERY hyped for this!! btw, theres something so nice about seeing so many people in one place and you all have one common interest, the band you're seeing! we all like that band and we're all in one place seeing that band play live!!

when they finished playing the black parade and were playing their other songs- once again, so awesome. i lowkey wish they would have played something from bullets but holy shit i am NOT complaining since they sang so many songs from three cheers and danger days!! also... finishing the show with kids from yesterday? yeah.. im gonna think about this for days to come.

seeing my chemical romance live was something i will never forget about, i had the time of my life and in that moment i was my happiest. if they ever decide to tour again and have more shows i would totally love to go (would be better if it was closer to where i live since i live FAR from tampa sob sob), i fr want everyone to experience one of their concerts because it is the best thing EVER!!
