the phrase "I love you"

I hate how much the phrase I love you is sexualized/romanticized like it doesn't always have to be romantic it can be platonic I tell my parents that I love them like everyday 100 times I tell my friends that I love them because I do I've known them since forever they're practical someone I see as family but people become all weird when you say it so freely and idk why because loving is such a nice thing and I think it should be said freely and shown freely but who knows just thoughts
