a photo i took in Bosnia and the symbolism of bridges!

this is a photo i took in Visegrad, Bosnia and Herzegovina. its a bridge mentioned in the well known serbian writer Ivo Andric's work. 

Andric loved using the symbolism of bridges in his novels... And rightfully so! :)

bridges symbolize transformations, transitions, both physical and mental. when you cross a bridge, you physically cross from one side to another... but could that also mean that bridges are roads from one period in life to a better one? :o hmm 

crossing a bridge symbolically is finally getting to the other side of your story of lif :)
