Curious if there’s a base of anyone who remembers the internet before it sucked. I come on here when other socials make me want to run away to live in the woods.
I don’t intend to poop on parties but much of the active folks I see on here aren’t legally allowed to drive or have really doubled down on the cringe parts of yesteryear. Are there users on here that can relate?
Fwiw I also understand younger ones trying to run away from brain rot but also that’s basically 80% of what being scene/emo was on the internet, lol. I’m all for people disengaging from seedy socials and manufactured outrage nonstop.

am i old enough XP but yeah i was using spacehey to run away from brainrot like ik there was brainrot before but tiktok instagram reel brainrot is so... brain

here! i actually missed the internet when it's still cool. spacehey brings me back to that 2000s nostalgia, this web is kinda cool.
I’d definitely prefer to ditch everything else but I have not found my irl friends or my people on here yet. I work in a field where I kind of need socials but I also am weighing abandoning ship on em.
