Hello!
This is going to be one of my first proper blog post :D. I think it will be a great idea to write something here every day, even for me to train my englishshshhs
Last month has brought a lot of small changes to my life. It started with a funny situation at the doctor's office when when i was donating blood. During the chekc-up, my doctor looked at me for a moment and asked "How much do you weight?" I told him what i thought I weighted, He looked at me for a second and said "Why dont you step on the scale, let's see" Okkk
7 kilos more than i was remember xD"
Sir, it might not be that noticeable on you because it all goes to your legs, but if you keep eating like that, you're going to get a belly in no time" xDD
I smiled and kind of brushed it off, but the thought still stuck in my head - and it was on my mind for a few days. Until I finally made up my mind! Alright then - let's get this diet started!
It's easy to just think to yourself - "okay, I'm going on a diet" - and that's it. Unfortunately, I didn't know how to approach it, but I remembered one quote - "First make it exist, you'll perfect it later."So the first thing I did was start with something simple - eating as usual, every meal at the same hours. That turned out to be quite easy to maintain, so since it was so simple, maybe I should add something? Or rather, remove something!
I cut sugary drinks out of my diet. And that was probably one of the hardest steps.For two weeks after quitting sugar, I was on edge and snapping at everyone; you could only approach me with a ten-foot pole. I was unbearable for two whole weeks until it finally stabilized. I breathed a sigh of relief.
The third week was calorie-counting week. Since I already had my meal times stabilized and had given up sugar, it felt like the right time to count calories and switch to healthier food. I installed an app on my phone and did the same thing, but I only ROUGHLY logged the calories, without weighing or precise tracking - the point was to slowly build a habit instead of jumping into a full-on diet.
I've also managed to start preparing my food for the whole workday. The last hour of my day is for relaxing in the kitchen where I prep all my meals for the next day, just like a catering service xD.
The result? After a month, I'm 1.5kg lighter. At this rate, I should be back to the weight I remembered by Christmas.
I won't have to memorize a new one since I remember the old one xDDD
I didn't think it would work - but it's going somehow :DD For the past week, I've also added longer walks.
I hope I won't give up until Christmas :DDD

Clapping for you 👏
Losing weight is not an easy feat and takes a lot of determination. I'm on a similar path as you but food is definitely my weakness ;-;
