my heavily curated thoughts abt the office

the office

season3 ep3 titled "the coup' we can see Dwight going against his nature after being swayed by angela<a women> and going behind Michael's back, trying to convince Jan to make him manager. Later on Michael knows of this development from via call with Jan, he plays along with it, saying corporate has demoted him n has put Dwight in charge of the branch. Dwight immediately after hearing this puts Michael below  in his hierarchy. Dwight flaunts, becomes prideful, directs authority, he finally has it  all, everything he has ever wanted    ^big fat BUTTT^   he crosses the line, criticizing Michaels company seabring convertable.

Michael breaks his the facade, he reveals that he made it all up Dwight denies going against his leader boss god perhaps . Michaels ^he yells^ "that's my car, take it back" in an insecure jokeish manner Dwight says no, everything fell apart. He takes power back, confronting Dwight saying he knows, over and over and over, Dwight breaks.  Next thing you know hes sobbing asking for forgiveness, literally kneeling  on the ground full body n everything, Angela looks at Dwight with pity, sadness,  she watches the man he loves emasculated asking for forgiveness like his life depended on it.

Michaels in control forgives him because of all the on lookers, they hug it out and watch a movie. This episode directly co-relates to Lucifer's decent upon heaven. Lucifer was the firstborn, and has existed longer than any of God’s creation. He lived alone with Jesus and God right after the beginning in John 1:1. After an eternity of expansion of the population of Heaven, he remembered what it was like, and thought, he too should be a king like Jesus. That Heaven was big enough now for two kings. He was the first to betray his oath to his King, but he was not alone. In the end, 1/3 of the population of Heaven either agreed with Lucifer or were sympathetic to Lucifer’s claim. This is what Lucifer did to get sent to Hell, he turned against the King of Heaven but unlike Lucifer, Dwight was forgiven after he repented

also jim played cod n pam baught a new dress in this episode which could also be a reference to the original sin
