Wandering Around the City: Art

Geocaching in downtown Tulsa and ran across a really neat area of town where so many buildings had been painted with a variety of art styles. I love when buildings are painted like this. It's so great to see the freeform creativity of so many people.

We have a lot of art like that in the town I'm next to. I believe all of it relates to the town and it's settling. :)

Absolutely. I know the city I'm near has some pretty good diversity despite the size of it, and I'm always glad to see so many different kinds of art. :)

One of the more weird things Minnesota has are ox sculptures, done up VERY oddly sometimes, in different cities around the state. For Paul Bunyan's blue ox Babe. An image search will bring up a bunch. :)

Oh cool! Thanks for sharing! I'll bet there's a geocache there. (I'm always finding really unique things while geocaching.) lol. It's fun that Kodak said they're the 2nd most photographed status in the US. That is a Very Blue ox! lol. Reading the Wiki... .aaaand now I want to watch National Lampoons Vacation again. Haha!

What a small world. Do you live in Tulsa? Because I used to live in Edmond!

It is a small world! I live very near Tulsa. :) Edmond seems pretty nice when I'm out that way.
