4 the sake of fixing a lazy vocabulary!

-Pellucid: translucently clear (think of lucid def.)

-Probity: the quality of having strong moral principles; honesty and decency.

-Illiberal: narrow-minded (as opposed to liberal when used as an adj instead of a noun)

-Perfunctory: done without care, in a routine fashion

-Tendentiousness: tendency to be in favor of a particular point; biased

-Acquisitive: greedy

-Lurid: a description, or details of something, presented in shocking and explicit detail

-Attenuate: reduce the force, effect, or value of

-Panache: flamboyant in style or manner

-Prosaic: having the style of prose; lacking poetic beauty

-Capricious: someone/something that acts on a whim

-Insipid: lacking flavor 

-Imperious: assuming power or authority in a domineering manner or attitude
