Cardboard Crack Takeover

Ever since I got back from vacation a few days ago, what I once thought was something I'd never get into again cause the hype frankly isn't worth the price, I unfortunately went down the rabbit hole of once again; Pokemon Cards.

Now I don't plan on being a stereotypical card scalper or trying to go after the massive big hitters just hoping to get even one ETB before a scalper. No, I plan on going for something MUCH simpler.

I will be starting a a Species Master Set!

This will include my most favorite Pokemon in the world, Buneary and Lopunny!

The current plans are getting a custom Binder to place them all in as well as look around various card shops in my area to see if they have any bulk boxes I can sift through for my favorite bunny. This master set in theory shouldn't be that expensive except for the tag team Mega Lopunny and Jigglypuff cards. But we'll get there when we get there. I already got one of them in Japanese! That's a start!

My boyfriend was willing to part with some singles he had to start, and we went around some card shops during my vacation to grab some more.

Now Buneary/Lopunny won't be all I collect, but I'm mostly going for bunny-like Pokemon and some Pokemon I find to be my favorites. I'm also looking to help my friends look for their favorite Pokemon to complete their own species masterset. So far I'm looking for the following.

- Eevee and Friends
- Hisuian Pokemon + Unova
- Petilil and Lilligant
- Raichu

I'll be asking more friends of mine to share with me their favorites they wanna collect while I look around the shops, but this is my way of finally starting to get my feet wet into the collecting side of things without breaking my wallet. Hope this all goes well!
