Ramble about the Demon Slayer movie (Will contain spoilers for the movie so beware!!!)

I'm trying to find more excuses to post on here 🙏 but anyways I had gone on opening night to watch the Demon Slayer infinity castle movie, and as an avid fan of demon slayer I have no one who is as brain rotted as me about Demon Slayer so I'm yelling into the void here lol. SPOILER WARNING FOR THE DEMON SLAYER INFINITY CASTLE MOVIE IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED IT YET OR HAVENT READ THE MANGA YET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyways, the movie did NOT disappoint whatsoever!! The Shinobu vs. Douma fight was SOOOOOOO peak. Though my only gripe with it was that they didn't make Shinobu's anger as visceral as it was in the manga. But otherwise they did her so much justice!!! I love this fight so much, it's my absolute favorite in the series. The symbolism, the emotion...Rip to my goat Shinobu 💔 Zenitsu vs Kaigaku was really good too, though it was so quick. I still don't understand why Zenitsu had locked in out of nowhere when they all fell into the Infinity Castle 😭😭 Maybe I need to re-read that part in the manga, I just don't remember....

And of course the star of the show, Giyuu and Tanjiro vs Akaza. I think the length flashbacks in between the fight were a little long imo but the soundtrack? *chef's kiss* amazing. Beautiful. If it ever made its way onto spotify I would listen to it for hours. I also didn't expect Akaza's backstory flashback to be as long as it was, but whatever, it was peak. Godddd I can't wait for Inosuke and Kanao vs Douma and Genya, Muichiro, Sanemi and Gyomei vs Kokushibo!! And of course, the final fight. YAY!!!!!!
