disappointment

so i wanted to go to new york comic con this year with a friend, but my parents wouldnt be able to drive us there since they were heading out to chicago. so i asked my friend if his parents would be able to drive us there, bad news: his parents also wouldnt be able to drive us there. So then we tried asking another one of our friends that was into comic con stuff if he wanted to go and his parents could drive us, bad news again: his parents also couldnt drive us.

but that was for sunday, thursday still had tickets open, and my dad was only gonna leave on friday, but it was also a school day, so me and my dad came up with something: we would go on thursday, but only if my friend asked his parents to buy a ticket and allow him to go with skipping school, since my dad wasnt comfortable taking my friend out of school for comic con.

so thats what we tried, but my friend sadly told me that his parents wouldnt allow him to go. pretty sad we couldnt go this year, because i really enjoyed fanexpo, and comic con seemed really fun, with meeting people, shopping around, and the overall experience! and im very introverted so this seemed like something i could really express myself in.

but not everything will go the way we imagine it right? but its okay to feel sad or disappointed, thats how i feel right now.

but maybe next year!
