I saw the New York premier of the movie last night at the Roxy Cinema. I didn't get to ask a question at the end

So I'm making a blog to put down my thoughts because this is a big ass movie.

So overall I still think V. II is still the best part so far, but it's not much of a significant difference. V. II has a more explicitly comedic tone to it. Lot's of conversational comedy tuned right into the queer Z-'lennial age range. V. II. has a couple significant instances of weak/confusing storytelling, at least on my first watch.

But first, questions about the cult stuff.

What kind of track suits are they wearing? Best group costume just dropped. 

What is in each of the buckets? 

So for the parts I thought were weak points.

How much are we supposed to understand in the party scene, because I barely got any of it. The loudness of the scene made an authentic sense of claustrophobia and awkwardness , but I missed a lot of the conversation between Circle and Keller and I don't know how much I was supposed to gather and how much of it didn't matter, it was a pretty important scene, so I hope I can hear better when I re watch at home.

How much of the minutia of the cult's structure is supposed to be understood literally and how much is ambiguous/is to be explained later. I didn't really understand what Jack Haven's character and Roxy are like doing there beyond supposed , and why does everyone leave so quickly. I don't know if I need a re watch or if it's something that will be expanded upon in future chapters. The whole cult punishment scene really felt like a bunch of actors attempting to create the vibe of a cult punishment, rather than any semblance of a real ritual. Keller's entrance is also very rushed feeling.

Because of the way several actors in this pretty much "posted their way into the movie", and the way characters act in this world, I think that Ciao of Punk Revolution Now! would fit really well into the cast. prolly not gonna happen but maybe CMA4?
