i forgot how fun spacehey is.
i spend a lot of time on instagram, and i can say undoubtedly that spacehey is 1000 times better. i feel like instagram melts my brain when i use it. i feel like a robot sometimes. i open it and refresh, refresh again.
i hate how i only spend my time on the internet on one specific app. there's so much more... why do i only look at instagram and (sometimes) youtube? lately i've been making an effort to explore the further corners of the internet. the internet is unimaginably vast and it's absolutely baffling to think i use it for just one purpose.
my personal favorite niche websites that i've found are this one and everything2. petit tube is cool too but i don't think it's all that niche.
anyways, it's one in the morning now, and i guess i could stay up longer, but i won't. winter break is finally here and i said i'd use it to catch up on sleep.

on spacehey you can talk to so many people and find awesome friends with the same interests as you in your age range!!!
Instagram though... it just kind of puts you in this state that feels like you're obsessed with everything on there. and it's a very bad, yucky feeling lol

Welcome to the old internet. There's a reason most of us oldheads reminisce so much about it. You might consider checking out Vidlii, which is basically a 2007 YouTube clone. It's one of the most active alt video sites. I'm glad retro sites are making a comeback.
