My Opinion on Older Generations

As a Gen Z, I find SOME older generations incredibly annoying to be around....

They compare their generation to ours WAYYYYY too much (e.g: "Back in my day we didnt have all this fancy technology or whatever" like.. ok want a cookie or sum? we get it already, you grew up without a phone or anything related, but u CONSTANTLY whining and bragging abt it sounds like pure jealousy

They r always complaining about "kids these days" or social media these days, like stfu, nobody cares. "BACK IN MY DAY WE HAD TO WALK TO SCHOOL IN THE SNOW" congrats! but that doesnt magically make ur opinion about literally everything correct or valid. AND THEY ARE SO ENTITLED WTFFF??? they get mad at younger ppl for working gig jobs, using slang or having so called weird lifestyles, but literally half the world changed while they were so busy complaining about it. plus theyll say stuff like '''we didn't need therapy" or "we survived without Google" like... wow good for u, we're not tryna ur trauma badge, we just want to exist without being gaslit for our feelings.

and the contradictions. they want us to vote, be polite AND work hard.. but they also act like we're spoiled for having opinions, doing self-care or using tech to make life easier. pick a fcking lane dude. u cant scream at me for using my phone and tell me im lazy for not hand writing letters to everyone I know...

Overall: Older gens are exhausting . they think nostalgia is an arguement, their stories are facts, and everything new is ruining society. meanwhile we r just trying to live, not destroy the world. karen. 

anywayy I never really cared abt this topic that much but I figured I'd talk about it since I was just thinking about it lately and I need to get it off my chest BADLY BC ITS BEEN ANNOYING ME AGHHHHHH. Goodbye everyone ^_^
