i started a project to make a UI renderer (like Qt or html) and ive made good progress, but ive had to refactor a whole load of code. there is a lot of code across a lot of files so i cant really show it here apart from small snippets ig. the point is, its going very well and its very fun to work on

That's fine. I totally understand development processes taking forever. That's happened to me with a lot of projects. Including my emulator I'm working on.
