A little story about a IPTV channel

Today's blog post is all about something close to my heart.  About 7 years ago, there was a meeting about setting up a Online Radio station called the Disability Sports Network.  Here is a kind of a great station that showcases the ability in disability.  We started in 2015 with the Blind Cricket NSW awards night and quiz.

At the same time, we also started a sometimes live IPTV (internet protocol television) station called DSN-TV, where it was a success.  So there was 2 options to see, or hear disabled sports live.  We also bought sports like Goalball, and the Physically Disabled Rugby League.  We also had shows live to air, and as a podcast.  The videos were made for YouTube as well, and there was a great following with the online services we use on the website.

With the changes to Flash, we had to discontinue DSN-TV in 2019, we were stuck to Radio, as well as the podcasts.  In 2021, we discontinued the Radio service after 6 years of great service.  However we also found a server and a streaming software, that we use today as we relaunched DSN-TV as a permanent IPTV station, streaming 24/7, playing old material and new shows as well.

We also still have our podcast service, that dual streams DSN-TV and original programs.

To access DSN-TV, here is the link: https://server1.disabilitysportsnetwork.info/broadcaster/dsntv/hybrid/player

And what is my role on DSN?  I am the technical admin of the service.

I hope you find this useful.  I also have a question for you.  Would you like to see more Disabled Sports, and which sports would you like to see on this service?
