My first week in an international high school as an "otaku"

I just started my first year in high school

at first I wasn't expecting having a lot of friends before at least one month, but people went talking to me from the first day of school ^^

also I'm someone who genuinely struggles with talking to people irl and my family always say I'm always quiet and I don't talk loud enough, so I really was't expecting people to spend time with me

also I'm in a japanese oriental class so we all do japanese courses and have a lot of interest in common, like vocaloid, anime, video games, and kpdh, so this is also the first time people tell me things like "aw you have an izuku picture as your pfp, he's incredible" instead of "look, she's an anime fan, it's so cringe", or "wow your drawing is so pretty, instead of "stop drawing we're in class" (while my bsf was also drawing and didn't told her that probably because she draws better than me)

I always dreamed of having my whole class as friends and this is finally happening, i'm so happy, like this time, it's not just people who I talk to and secretly hate me like in middle school, they are friends, we laugh, talk on what's app, etc...
