Urdu is like a bridge between a bunch of really beautiful languages. this lingo uses perso-arabic script, which means the writing system is a lot like Arabic and Persian (more close to Persian though)and it has a lot of common with Indian grammar and syntax stuff. so this language carries traces of like 3 most richest langauges in Asia or even world. and it's really cool. probably western lingos
today (1404/6/23 or 2025/9/14) I started learning URDU)

probably western lingos or like any language families outside of south Asia or middle east don't share as much as interest as we do, Like as a persian, when i see Indian poetry is really interesting to see what influences our culture had back then, and ofc it's mutual so a lot of Indian or pakistan poems are really admired in Iran.
I've always felt the culture of this part of Asia is overshadowed for the rest of the word, even most of the younger generations (including myself LOL) doesn't care that much about; don't get me wrong there is still a lot of ppl who like it, but generally, the rate is decreasing, so when i found similar cultures i feel like i can get more in touch; the fun part is when U learn about this countries you learn about yours too, bc they are came from same ideas and stuff i dunno how to describe it...
