genuinely wth is going on with people??? have we completely forgotten how to be civilized in fandoms now???? i'm seeing a shit ton of people just bashing the hell out of the teaser and even going as far as to just pointlessly bring up another game with a lot of the same team involved to slander for literally no reason. none of this is actual constructive discussion either just stuff like posting a photo of the new models to say they're ugly without any real feedback, acting incredibly disgruntled about the new game when they've been prodding and prodding at the studio for a remake, just outright tearing people apart for saying anything positive.... like hey guys! it's improved! this is actually an improvement! and a re-release of a game that has been out for 15 years! with NEW CONTENT! is negativity really all you're going to voice on this? because that's actually how you get less of this kind of thing happening. 

reminder of why i dont engage in a lot of fandom these days aside i'm really excited to see this project and how it turns out; SDR2 has been a game i've adored since i played it a few years after release. i'm in the middle of replaying it with a couple friends, dragging one of em through the franchise for the first time. it's fun. i like the DR series a lot. 
the remake looks really good imo— it's spectacularly rendered and looks like you'll have the chance to explore a lot of the previously 2d areas in a more through manner, the improved character sprites look phenomenally polished especially comparatively to the original... you can tell there's a lot of effort and love going into this project
