Villainess Manhwa

Lately I've been reading some villainess manhwa! I used to be super into it back in grade school, but I stopped reading it for a while.. The main reason I stopped is because a lot of manga and manhwa about reincarnating as a villainess in some game or book follow a lot of the same tropes. On one hand, it makes it super easy to read and low stakes, since I know most of the common plot beats, but it gets mega tiring and lame after reading the same stuff over and over. But the manhwa I've read are totally awesome! The three series I read are How to Win My Husband Over, Who Made Me A Princess, and Villains Are Destined to Die. They're all pretty popular in the manhwa community, but I somehow avoided reading them for a while.

The first one I read was How to Win My Husband Over a couple of months ago, and it totally captured my heart! It's such a sweet and emotionally mature story, I'd recommend it to anyone if they were okay with the subject material.

Who Made Me A Princess was another great series, with my favorite take on the "cold and evil father" trope. It's super heartwarming and worth reading, though I've heard they changed some crucial plot elements from the light novel.

Villains Are Destined to Die was just truly amazing. I do have one complaint about it, but other than that I was hooked the entire time. I love the main character even though she's morally gray. I understand her though, because she's been on survival mode her entire life. I recommend all three of these manhwas to people trying to get into the villainess manhwa subgenre!
