i wrote a poem

i saw a man getting shot on the internet 

i saw the blood as it poured out his neck

and they got so distracted 

they forgot what happened 

24 years ago today

and i saw some kids getting killed on the internet 

i saw the bombs as they fell

and i stayed for a minute 

cause thats all i could do

to try stop the pain and the death

and i saw the ice caps melting

i saw the family's starving

the people all crying for help

and they all have it worse than me

the stuff i see on tv

keeps me up past midnight 

and im sorry that happened to you 

wish there was something i could do

to take away all of your pain

to give all your children back 

the ones that died in attacks

and the ones that will still be unnam
