➤ Chapter 1 : The beggining...

   You wake up, your egg ripped open by your small mandibles. For the first time, you open your minuscule eyes to look around for the first time. Your mother had left days ago, and you, and your siblings had been growing under the dead flesh of rotting bark. 

It's the beggining of your stag beetle life. You were a male, excited to grow large pinchers to fight away the other males to win youre future girlfriend's heart.

Even if your mother had left, she wasn't careless, letting you feast on what had covered you all this time. Your slimy and small body started to move towards the wet bark, tasting the thing you'll eat till you grow old enough and hide underground. It seems like all youre siblings are doing the same as you.

➤ Chapter 2 : The grownth...

   Since you were born, you never stopped eating the rotting bark that had protected you from the harsh weathers and other dangers. It was almost fully eating and your siblings were already planning to go underground and continue their journey alone and with only the will to survive.

Your bodies had grown fatter, larger, and juicier...

You were the perfect meal for roddens, birds, and all kinds of predators.

You knew it was time for you to go too, so you finally let go of the halfgone bark, and went undeground, were you'll be safe till you have to leave it.

➤ Chapter 3 : Underground...

  It has been days.

You had grown into a glisenning and beautiful larvea, but still that wasn't enough for you. You had to eat more, to win more nutrients to be able to grow a healthy and strong Pupa just for you. 

You were excited to grow into a handsome male stag beetle, but right now, the only thing you hade to trully focus on was on what you will eat today. Your siblings had long left towards their own path, crawling underground for hours till they were far away from they were born. They had forgotten about you a while ago, and you should do the same...

Thankfully you end up finding fresh roots of a large flower, and decide to eat them till you have to look for more.... and more... 

➤ Chapter 4 : Unmoving...

   Finally ! It happend. You had suddently stopped moving, your small mandibles and legs paralized as your body wiggled in a rapid rythme. You knew it was finally happening. A big strong skin had formed around your body till it covered you whole. Finally, you stopped moving and let nature transform you into what you wanted for months.

➤ Chapter 5 : The fresh air...

   The soil was now too dark for you. You had fully grown, and still haven seen yourself.

It was time to get out into the real world, find a healthy female and continue with your life ! You amarge from the soil, your dark skin letting all the sunlight make you warm and nice. It was time for you to travel to find a nearest mating spot, even if it took days, even months...
