You Forgot Again

You forgot my birthday, but I loved you, so it was okay.

You forgot "hello", but I had said it first, so it was fine.

You forgot my name, but it was okay because I'd remind you.

You forgot goodnight but it was okay because light was still out.

You forgot to tell me you were with her, but it was okay because I thought we'd still work out.

You forgot everything.

You even forgot goodbye.
