Woah, A Blog About School, Tech, and Life

Why is it that media portrays university as an essential for life; as if not having a degree will leave you as a crazy cat lady?

People can be successful without great grades, degrees, and certificates.
At the end of the day; those are all just writing on paper - people who first meet you do not generally care for what your grades in school were, but rather your attitude towards life and others.

Attitude is everything, especially when it comes to the way in which you want to live your life - imagine this; you are at the park, beautiful trees and flowerbeds surround you, but all you can focus on is going home to check your social medias, or if your new friends know how you were academically in school.
With this mindset you miss the happenings of life; birds collecting things for their nests, a person walking their dog, the way that leaves fall from trees when a gust of wind comes along - you also become irritated, maybe even anxious.

But, if you were focused on the present rather than others' opinions or missing out, you would see the leaves, the dog, and the birds - you may even be inspired to start a hobby; collecting bird feathers or taking pictures of them, dog walking, or leaf pressing and collecting.

I feel that it is important to teach people how to enjoy life again, instead of portraying the life that they dream of online, and to appreciate the little things, rather than seeing them as something that will always be there.

This is really just scattered thoughts, but if you understood it; yay! lol (don't worry my writing will improve.... someday xp)
